These terms apply when you use Catch Rowing. By reading the site you accept them. If you don’t, please don’t use it.

What we publish

We publish rowing journalism: race reports, analysis, interviews and features. We also publish predictions— our editors’ opinions about how events might unfold.

Predictions are editorial opinion, not statements of fact, not advice, and emphatically not betting guidance. They are frequently wrong; that is the nature of prediction. Do not rely on them to make any financial decision.

Accuracy and corrections

We aim to be accurate and to correct mistakes openly. If you spot an error, email corrections@catchrowing.news and we will look at it. Results, entries and timings can change after publication, and we make no warranty that everything here is current or complete.

Our content

Articles, photographs and graphics on this site are owned by us or used with permission, and are protected by copyright.

You may:

• read, link to and share our pages;
• quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link.

You may not, without our written permission:

• republish articles in whole or in substantial part;
• use our content to train machine-learning models;
• scrape the site systematically or at a rate that burdens it;
• remove bylines, credits or copyright notices.

What you send us

If you send us a tip, photograph, correction or article, you confirm it is yours to send and that we may publish it with credit. You keep ownership; you grant us a non-exclusive licence to publish and archive it. Tell us in advance if material is offered on different terms.

Athletes and images

We report on competitive rowing, including junior and school events. If you are an athlete, parent or guardian and want a photograph or name reconsidered, email privacy@catchrowing.news. We will weigh the public interest in the reporting against the request, and we take requests about young athletes seriously.

Third-party links

We link to other sites where it helps the reader. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for what they publish or how they handle your data.

Availability

We try to keep the site up but don’t guarantee it. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.

Liability

The site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of it or reliance on anything published here, including our predictions. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed; continuing to use the site means accepting the current version.
